GABI DICARLO QUICK FACTS --

This
weekend’s race at Kansas Speedway will mark Gabi DiCarlo’s
third career start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
(NCWTS). DiCarlo has been driving for Stringer Motorsports
for four years, first in the Hooter’s Pro Cup Series and
then in the ARCA RE/MAX Series for the last two seasons in
the No. 90 Great Clips entry.

(April 19, 2009) –
Gabi DiCarlo continued her string of impressive early season
runs with a strong performance at the ARCA RE/MAX Carolina
200 in Rockingham, North Carolina. DiCarlo started 24th
and was able to fight through the fast field to finish 14th.
The race was almost over before it started for DiCarlo as
during the initial drop of the green flag the 40 car field
bunched up and DiCarlo was almost spun from behind, while
she was able to continue the impact did cause damage to the
Great Clips Toyota Camry. DiCarlo gathered the injured racer
under her and set out for the front of the pack and with the
help of a very quick pit stop by the Great Clips crew she
was able to gain positions both on the track and on pit
road. |
