DiCarlo Continues Climb in Points

Denver, NC (June 17, 2008) - After the tough start to the season, Gabi DiCarlo has rebounded to start the climb up the ARCA/REMAX series championship points. The Great Clips Race Team has been able to put together a series of strong runs and with Gabi finishing 15th at the Racing for Wildlife 200 from Michigan International Raceway, she has been able to make some strong strides towards the points championship.

"We have known all along that we were a good team and we have just stuck to what we knew would work," said Doug Stringer owner of Stringer Motorsports. "Gabi continues to improve in her driving and we keep upgrading personnel on the team."

The team will now take advantage of a short break in the schedule to ready their already strong short track arsenal and with Cayuga Motor Speedway next up on the schedule they are looking forward to the trip north of the boarder.

"We have been really fast in every short track race this year but we just haven't had the finishes to show for it," says Gabi. "We hope to take advantage, when we get to Cayuga."

Cayuga Motor Speedway located in Hagersville Ontario Canada will be the 10th race on the ARCA/REMAX schedule. The ARCA/REMAX 250 will be run Sunday June 29th at 1:30pm.
